Luminous Air
Wednesday, August 27, 2008 6:07I got my airbrush set last Saturday and I’m really quite pleased with it. So far I feel like I’m putting too much make up on, but I’m so addicted to the flawless matte finish it gives me. I’m sure as I get used to it, I’ll do better at putting it on.
The Luminous Air airbrush system is pretty simple really. Add a few drops of the water-based mineral foundation make up to the airbrush “bucket”, pull back the trigger on the airbrush applicator (gently) and start applying the make up in a circular motion around your face. I’m finding you have to add more of the make up several times, but that could be my inexperience showing. The dvd they sent with the product says to put it on in several thin layers. It’s a learning process, even if it is really super easy to put the stuff on.
And I’m loving the fact that it’s water-based and a mineral product. I have yet to SEE an ingredient list anywhere though. I may yet ask too, if I get a nasty breakout like I typically did with my previous make up. I discovered that Cover Girl gave me quite regular break outs until a co-worker mentioned she and her mother had the same problem. Which meant that the product was very likely the problem.
Anyway, so far I’ve got nothing but good to say about Luminous Air.
