Organic Grocery
Another nifty find while surfing going green sites. This time I was on Cherished Planet, a community site for sharing natural and organic company and service links. On the services page, I came across Spud.ca, an organic grocery delivery service. Currently only available in Vancouver and Calgary, they intend on going national eventually. They also have some availability in Seattle, San Fransisco, Los Angeles and Portland.
Of course I did a google search on local organic grocery delivery and came up with more stuff!
Green Earth Organics delivers organic foods to homes and businesses in Toronto and Vancouver. You can select one of 3 boxes of goods for regular delivery and add what you like as extras.
The Ontario Natural Food Co-op is a group of individuals who go in together and buy from wholesalers. You can start your own local team and select your organic foods from tons of sources listed on the site. For locals to the Durham Region, there is a pickup/delivery group in Pickering.
